What makes my coaching service different is focused attention on the individual. I develop an individualized program for and with each of my clients. I do not have a cookie cutter strategy to use. My clients have personal access to me, not just a data base of information. I provide emotional support as well as information. I confer with them to make decisions about exceptions that they want or need to make. My clients find me to be very nonjudgmental in all my dealings with them. Everyone has unique needs, desires, and goals. I am committed to helping my clients with these.
Most of us know that we could be healthier by eating better and exercising but what is healthy eating?
There are a multitude of experts who are very knowledgeable and passionate in their presentation of what a healthy diet is. Many of them base their opinion on scientific research. Still they differ in their conclusions, sometimes drastically.
For years it has been my passion to increase my understanding of what a healthy lifestyle is. I have spent many hours over years examining the work of these experts and developing my plan for health. This will always be an ongoing process.
My basic philosophy of nutrition has been about the same since the early ‘70s: God created us and the food we need. It is also true that we have evolved to need the food that has been available to us. If we choose to eat something else we are very likely to miss out on important nutrients or consume something harmful. So eat natural unprocessed food.
I absolutely love food! I love growing it, cooking it, eating it, studying about it and teaching people about it. So I plan to do more of what I love and teach my clients what I have learned.
Although this is not a weight loss program, a healthy lifestyle will produce a healthy weight.
