Sweet Potato Almond Smoothie
Ingredients
Water 1 1/4 cup Sweet Potato, 1 1/2 cup cooked Dates, 10 Apple, 1 Almonds, roasted, 1/2 cup Ginger, 1 Tablespoon |
Directions
1st Cook the sweet potato then let it cool some. I like this recipe warm. The sweet potato can be cooked any way you want, boiled, steamed or baked. It can even be left over. I steam mine. It takes 15 minutes from cold to done in my steamer. Add the water to a blender and then all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth. |
The roasted almonds really make this smoothie delicious.
